Continuing Support for Ronald McDonald House

Architerra, and Zi Spa (both Lakeside companies) attended the SK Ball on September 9th. The SK Ball is an annual fundraiser by Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Northwest. Architerra was an event sponsor and Andi B. of Zi Spa won the coveted bull riding competition and belt buckle.

Sponsorship of the event by Architerra was a continuation of support for RMCH of the Inland Northwest. Last year, Architerra donated $50,000 to Ronald McDonald House to help support the capital campaign for Northern Idaho House – a new building that opened in March 2020. Prior to this expansion, an average of fourteen families a day were on our waiting list for somewhere to stay while their children received medical treatment.

Currently, RMHC can house 64 families a night in three houses; however ongoing support is still needed. Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest provides temporary lodging, social and emotional support, at no charge, for families of children accessing medical services. The Spokane area is a premier medical destination and families face difficult decisions as many are unable to pay for a hotel. Instead, they have to sleep in their cars, sleep in hospital waiting rooms, or leave their hospitalized infant or child to travel home. More than half face incredible financial hardships due to loss of income(s) and mounting medical bills.

Architerra, Zi Spa, and Lakeside will continue to support this important cause. To donate or get involved, visit their site:

Specialized Needs Recreation Center Annual Fundraiser

We are proud to be a silver sponsor for the “Under the Big Top” fundraiser for Specialized Needs Recreation. This event supports the important socialization and recreation activities provided by SNR year-round.

Children’s Village of Coeur d’Alene

Through Architerra, we recently sponsored a table for the annual benefit auction for the Children’s Village of Coeur d’Alene. Children’s Village is a trauma responsive safe haven, restoring trust and hope for children and families who experience abuse, neglect, or are in crisis.

The pandemic has added some extra challenges to their mission in the last few years with schools closed and in-person interactions limited. The stability provided to them by Children’s Village is crucial to their ability to adapt and overcome with a warm bed, three home-cooked meals each day and loving staff around at all times.

Hoopfest 2022: King of the Losers!

Lakeside and Architerra participated in Hoopfest 2022 – the largest 3-0n-3 basketball tournament in the world! Our team this year won the losers bracket, and had a great time at the event.

For the last 31 years, the Spokane Hoopfest Association has launched several programs, donated $2.5m back to local charitable organizations, built over 30 community basketball courts in the Inland Northwest.

Supporting MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation’s Heart String Fundraiser

Lakeside Companies is a proud sponsor of the 2022 Heart Strings concert, which is raising funds to support the NICU at MultiCare Deaconess Hospital. This fundraiser providers funds to improve care for the smallest, most vulnerable newborns in our community.

The 45 bed unit treats prematurely born babies or babies born with serious health problems. They also offer a specialized Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome.

If you want to support this event, you can still purchase tickets. The event will be held April 29th, 2022 and tickets start $150 a guest.

New Girls & Boys Club of Kootenai County

The new Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai county recently opened in Coeur d’Alene. We are excited to see this new facility open and we were proud contributors to the capital campaign that raised the additional $1 million needed on top of the generous $2 million donation by Duane & Lola Hagadone.

We’re committed to the youth of the Inland Northwest, which is why we participated in the capital campaign to build a new facility.  This wonderful facility provides a safe place to keep kids in the area active and out of high-risk activities.

These programs work to ensure that young people in our region have the social, emotional and academic support to create opportunities for success throughout their lives.
