ATC Manufacturing attended TRPC (Thermoplastics Composites Research Conference) in the Netherlands during October 2019. This was a one-day conference at the University of Twente to celebrate the Thermoplastic Composites Research Center’s 10th anniversary. The TPRC focuses on pre-competitive research within the 8,100-square foot facility close to the University of Twente.

ATC’s leaders in innovation and research and development, Corbin Chamberlain, Don Evans, David Leach, and Trevor McCrea, wrote a summary of the event for CompositesWorld. The event featured a kickoff and keynote from Dr. Alex Rubin, senior technical fellow at The Boeing Company, experts and panel sessions, training and knowledge-sharing. In the article, ATC shares its perspective on key speakers, knowledge sharing and industry outlook for 2020 and beyond.

ABOUT ATC MANUFACTURING: Founded in 2004 by Dan Jorgenson, ATC Manufacturing has become a leader in the development and production of high-performance, light-weight aerospace composite parts. ATC develops products that are lighter, stronger and more cost effective. The collaboration between Advanced Thermoplastic Composites and Lakeside enabled ATC’s expansion in 2015 into a 67,000-square-foot facility, expanding production to more than one million parts per year.
