Lakeside Capital expanded it’s private equity portfolio with Post Falls-based Advanced Thermoplastic Composites (ATC) Manufacturing in 2010. We weren’t just committing to help operate a company, we were investing in aerospace technology and products that continue to reach new heights. Founded in 2004 by Dan Jorgenson, ATC Manufacturing has become a leader in the development and production of high-performance, light-weight aerospace composite parts. ATC develops products that are lighter, stronger and more cost effective.
Lakeside Capital’s John Hemmingson serves as CEO and Jason Kindred is the President and COO of ATC Manufacturing. The collaboration between Advanced Thermoplastic Composites and Lakeside enabled ATC’s expansion in 2015 into a 67,000-square-foot facility, expanding production to more than one million parts per year. Lakeside shares management’s long-term view and continued investments in R&D and additional capabilities. ATC’s dedication to innovation also includes funding research on composite material recycling alongside Gonzaga University’s School of Engineering and Boeing.
Advanced Thermoplastic Composite’s growth has not only put it at the forefront of its industry, but the company has also expanded its skilled workforce, contributing to the sustainability of our region’s economy.
