Composites World named ATC as one of the top 31 composites manufacturers in the world!

ATC, a leading aerospace composite parts company, was identified as one of the top 31 top shops for composites manufacturers. CompositesWorld, in cooperation with Gardner Intelligence, launched the CW Top Shops benchmarking survey, designed to help composites manufacturing operations measure and assess how well they compare to other members of the industry and understand how efficient their manufacturing operations are.

The information in this report combined all of the responses, which came from composites fabricators from around the world representing every major end market, including aerospace composite parts companies; along with, automotive, marine, energy, consumer and industrial.

The survey asked composites fabricators to provide a data related to order lead time, machine uptime, capacity utilization, wages, customer retention, sales growth, labor turnover, scrap rate, materials used, processes used, inspection technologies used, inspection machinery employed, supply chain practices, marketing practices, certifications and much more. This was the first study created and will help establish baseline data regarding operations efficiency for the composites industry. CompositesWorld received more than 110 survey responses from individual composite manufacturing facilities.

ABOUT ATC MANUFACTURING: Founded in 2004 by Dan Jorgenson, ATC Manufacturing has become a leader in the development and production of high-performance, light-weight aerospace composite parts. ATC develops products that are lighter, stronger and more cost effective. The collaboration between Advanced Thermoplastic Composites and Lakeside enabled ATC’s expansion in 2015 into a 67,000-square-foot facility, expanding production to more than one million parts per year.
